PancakeSwap DEX lands on the Aptos blockchain

The PancakeSwap community has decided to launch on the new Aptos blockchain. The DEX announced it on its website. An astounding 98% of voters backed a PancakeSwap version on Aptos. The plan is to have the four core features—Swaps, Farms, Pools, and Initial Farm Offerings—available at launch. Additionally, there should be a matching Aptos liquidity pool.

By the end of November, the decentralized exchange, including its own CAKE token, plans to migrate to the new blockchain after former developers Metas, Mo Shaikh, and Avery Ching. Just last week Aptos launched its mainnet. The Facebook-era, opaque tokenomics, and the reputation of venture capital certainly influenced the project.

The APT token's listing on exchanges was very volatile. Early on it traded on some marketplaces about 40 percent below the listing price, but after a brief stabilization period the token jumped about 30 percent over the weekend.
