Polygon takes another step toward Web3. Together with Warner Music and the e-commerce company LGND, they’re developing a virtual music platform.

Polygon takes another step toward Web3. Together with Warner Music and the e-commerce company LGND, they’re developing a virtual music platform. The platform is slated to launch in January 2023 under the name LGND Music. With LGND Music, digital music collectible objects can be traded and played. It is intended that, in addition to Polygon, other blockchains will be supported. The NFT tracks should be playable on all major platforms. The company also announced a partnership with the Dutch music label Spinning Records.

LGND Music CEO, Michael Rockwell, was ecstatic: "We’ve been working on the best blockchain experience for passionate music lovers around the world for over a year and look forward to innovative and unique content from a wide range of WMG artists." After Meta, Disney and OpenSea, Polygon, with Warner Music, adds another strong partner and expands its Web3 infrastructure."
