Polygon launches Ethereum scaling solution zkEVM
Polygon's Ethereum scaling solution zkEVM has been launched in beta.

Polygon's Ethereum scaling solution "zkEVM" has been launched in beta. Vitalik Buterin hid a message in the first transaction.
Polygon announced the beta mainnet launch of the Ethereum scaling solution "zkEVM". The accompanying source code is open-source.
Using zkEVM, transactions are bundled and sent to Ethereum. This reduces the load on the Ethereum blockchain.
In the beta, the sidechain is now being audited for errors. There is a $1 million bug bounty for critical security flaws.
"Since Mainnet Beta is a live-fire version of Polygon zkEVM with a centralized sequencer, making the code public allows other researchers to follow along and change the code in real time as Polygon zkEVM completes its features and works on decentralizing the sequencer in the future", according to Polygon.
The first transaction was made by Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin. In it, he packed a message: "Millions of constraints for people, unlimited scalability for humanity".
