After Solana (SOL) recently announced it would launch its own crypto smartphone, Polygon (MATIC) is following suit.

Polygon is reportedly teaming up with the London startup Nothing to enable a range of blockchain features on the phone, according to a report from news outlet Decrypt.

Yesterday, July 5, the British tech startup announced it would launch an exclusive NFT collection with Polygon's help. 'If you pre-order the phone, you’ll also be involved in the upcoming airdrops,' Nothing explained.

In the future, it will also be possible to access Polygon apps, games, and payment features via the Nothing phone. The iPhone rival, developed by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, aims to stand out from other manufacturers with its unique design.

Polygon is the latest blockchain project diving into the smartphone space. Earlier, Solana made big headlines by announcing it would launch its own mobile phone. Solana’s phone will be called Saga.
