The token launchpad Pump.fun is responsible for about 70 percent of all tokens created on Solana — just in the last two days alone. Pump.fun is one of the biggest memecoin factories in the crypto scene. Over its one-year existence, more than five million tokens have been created on the platform, as data from Dune show. However, most tokens disappear into obscurity. Of the five million tokens, only 427 have a market capitalization of more than one million U.S. dollars.

For a few months now, the tokens created on Pump.fun on Solana have dominated. Other Solana launchpads are losing more and more market share. Pump.fun dominates the Solana launchpad market. Pump.fun is the fastest-growing crypto app ever. Solana has also grown quickly and is currently ranked sixth in crypto with a market capitalization of 104 billion U.S. dollars. At the time of writing, SOL trades at 216 U.S. dollars, up 12 percent from a week ago.
