QTUM, a decentralized open-source blockchain platform, announces the start of a partnership with the leading fiat-to-crypto exchange that lets users buy cryptocurrencies with their debit cards, Indacoin Limited.
The main focus of the partnership between QTUM and Indacoin is to simplify interaction with the native platform token QTUM by enabling direct crypto purchases with Visa & Mastercard debit cards. Indacoin aims to make the user experience for its audience as safe and easy as possible.
Qtum is an open-source public blockchain platform founded in 2016 by a team of professionals with experience in both tech and crypto markets. The project is built around leveraging UTXO security while enabling multiple virtual machines to work together, including EVM and the revolutionary x86 VM. QTUM’s functionality includes a business-friendly smart contract platform, a decentralized application platform, enterprise blockchain services, and more.
Guilherme Jovanovic, CBDO of Indacoin Limited, commented on the news: "We’re excited to announce this partnership with QTUM, a well-known and beloved project by a large global community, which will make it even easier for people to obtain QTUM with their cards. I’m thrilled to kick off this collaboration and bring QTUM to mainstream usage!"
"Qtum Foundation is pleased that QTUM is listed on Indacoin, a well-established and trusted player in the industry. We’re always looking for collaborations with other crypto companies, and we see benefits for the ecosystems of both Indacoin and Qtum. Fiat payment rails are a crucial piece of the crypto puzzle that will drive usage and adoption of QTUM in the long term." – said Jordan Earls, co-founder of Qtum Foundation.
QTUM has ambitious plans
The public network project QTUM has ambitious plans for 2021. The team announced on the official GitHub channel that on April 30 the Qtum Fast Lane version will be activated via a hard fork. The new network is reportedly bringing the block creation time down to 32 seconds.
