Solana ETFs End 14-Week Inflow Streak After Biggest Outflow
The outflow came alongside a weak week for Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, while XRP kept attracting inflows. SOL fell 10.25% and pushed the funds' net assets lower again.

Key Takeaways
- U.S. spot Solana ETFs posted an outflow of $24.8 million in the week through October 9, after 14 straight weeks of inflows.
- Net assets in the Solana funds fell from $1.90 billion to $1.73 billion, partly because SOL dropped 10.25%.
- At the same time, Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs also saw outflows, while U.S. spot XRP ETFs pulled in $11.3 million in inflows.
U.S. spot Solana ETFs lost $24.8 million (€22.1 million) in the week through October 9. That ended a streak of 14 straight weeks of inflows. It was also the biggest weekly outflow since the launch in October 2025.
Solana Turns Fast
Just two weeks earlier, the funds had brought in $188.2 million (€168 million), their second-strongest week ever. In the week through October 2, that inflow had already slowed to $2.4 million (€2.1 million), after which the trend flipped to outflows. According to SoSoValue, the previous week with net outflows was still a loss of $8.9 million (€7.9 million) in the week through February 6, so the recent selling pressure was almost three times as large.
The Solana funds saw their net assets drop in the same week from $1.90 billion (€1.7 billion) to $1.73 billion (€1.5 billion). That was not only because of the outflows, but also because the SOL price fell 10.25% during that trading week. By the end of the week, SOL was at $111.53 (€100), after a slight rebound later in the weekend.
Broad Pressure on Crypto ETFs
The Solana numbers came alongside a weak week for several major crypto ETFs. Bitcoin ETFs lost $681.1 million (€608 million) and Ethereum ETFs lost $542.1 million (€484 million). Funds tied to Zcash and Hyperliquid also posted outflows, at $30.7 million (€27.4 million) and $9.4 million (€8.4 million), respectively.
At the same time, XRP remained an exception. U.S. spot XRP ETFs pulled in $11.3 million (€10.1 million) in the same week and extended their inflow streak to 13 weeks. Since January 1, Solana funds have attracted $816.8 million (€729 million), according to the provided figures, more than Bitcoin ETFs over the same period. For European crypto watchers, that shows demand for spot ETFs can vary a lot by coin, even when the broader crypto market is weak.
XRP Keeps the Inflows Going
The XRP funds have now built up a cumulative net inflow of $1.80 billion (€1.6 billion), while their net assets came in at $1.57 billion (€1.4 billion). For Solana and XRP, the next weekly data set, through October 16, will be important to see whether buyers came back after the price drop or whether the outflows kept going.
