Telegram integrates USDT into wallet bot

On Telegram, users have been able to use cryptocurrencies for a while. Now USDT is also available via the Tron blockchain.

The @wallet bot on Telegram now supports USDT transactions (TRC20) via the Tron network. Users can now buy, sell, and perform P2P transfers of USDT for free and send it directly to friends, according to the chat announcement.

The bot's upgraded user interface also includes a new exchange section where USDT can be swapped for the Telegram token (TON).

Back in April 2022, the messaging app rolled out mobile crypto payments. In the meantime, it is planning to roll out its own crypto swap feature.
