The euphoria around the bored-looking apes apparently isn’t over yet. Ape #5383 was sold for 777 ETH - about $1.3 million.

On August 17, 2022, NFT collector Vis.eth acquired a Bored Ape with gold fur. The standout is that there are only 46 bored apes with gold fur. This makes the ape NFT extremely rare.

After the purchase, the NFT collector explained to the Bored Ape Gazette why he bought the ape: I wanted to collect a gold ape. 777 ETH is a reasonable price.
