A few hours after Binance canceled, Tron founder Justin Sun offers to help FTX. It remains to be seen if this is just a PR stunt.
Tron founder Justin Sun stated this morning View post on X that he would work with FTX to find a solution to the exchange dilemma. The announcement comes just hours after Binance canceled its agreement to take over FTX. Sun explicitly says: "The ongoing liquidity crisis hurts both the sector's development and investors." Sun's team has been working around the clock to prevent further deterioration.
Sun is met with skepticism by many
Whether this claim is true is debatable. While FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried shared Sun's tweet, he recently revealed a cash shortfall of $8 billion. Because many FTX customers fear for their money, Sun's announcement received massive support. There are also allegations that the tweet was a "marketing stunt" intended to boost the TRON token. Meanwhile, events surrounding the FTX collapse are unfolding at a rapid pace.
