The World app for the associated crypto project Worldcoin has reached several milestones. The number of downloads has exceeded four million.

According to official news from the developer company behind Worldcoin, Tools for Humanity, World also has more than a million active users per month. That's over 100,000 users per day and over 500,000 users per week. In addition, 22 million transactions have been processed through the app.

You need the app for smartphones to use the protocol. However, the crypto project is still considered controversial. Critics have concerns about privacy risks. An authority in Germany is also investigating Worldcoin.
