XRP breaks through $3 — is the next stop a new ATH?
For the first time since early February, XRP has again cleared the $3 psychological threshold, and that hasn't gone unnoticed.

For the first time since early February, XRP has again cleared the $3 psychological threshold, and it's not going unnoticed. The altcoin is climbing to third place on the leaderboard of the most valuable cryptocurrencies by market cap.
The rise of XRP isn't a standalone phenomenon. After Bitcoin recently climbed to above $122,000, the entire altcoin sector has started moving. But XRP stands out in particular: in the past month, XRP's price has risen by more than 37%. A key catalyst? The upcoming launch of its own ETF.
According to official documents, filed with the U.S. regulator SEC, asset manager ProShares is working on an XRP ETF. The goal: provide institutional investors with a regulated and easy-access entry point to XRP. Many large players have sat on the sidelines so far due to unclear rules around direct crypto purchases. The arrival of this ETF could change that.
ProShares isn’t alone. Earlier, Teucrium and Tuttle Capital also launched XRP-related exchange-traded products. These funds have seen strong capital inflows in a short period, signaling strong interest. The planned ETF launch coincides with Crypto Week in Washington D.C., an annual event that draws the attention of policymakers, investors, and the industry. The timing seems anything but coincidental.
The introduction of an XRP ETF could act as a catalyst for a broader institutional breakthrough for altcoins. More ETFs for other coins seem just a matter of time, which could bolster confidence in digital assets as a legitimate investment class.
Ripple itself isn’t sitting still. The company has strategic partnerships with, among others, Chinese AI startups, Germany's DZ Bank, and Brazil's Mercado Bitcoin.
With the arrival of the ProShares ETF, XRP gets a solid tailwind from the traditional financial world, and that could bring the token even closer to its all-time high.
