XRP lawsuit: Ripple CEO shows '1000 percent conviction'
The end of the long-running legal battle between Ripple Labs and the U.S. securities regulator SEC appears near.

The end of the long-running legal battle between Ripple Labs and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission seems near. Only weeks separate Ripple from a final settlement, now the company voluntarily waives a reduction of the $125 million fine.
But it's Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse who now truly shows how deep his belief in XRP runs with a tattoo. In a striking View post on X on X (formerly Twitter), he shows a freshly inked XRP symbol tattoo on his left upper arm, accompanied by the text: “1000 percent”.
The image went viral quickly, in part thanks to popular crypto influencer Digital Asset Investor, who picked up the tattoo and noted: “If a man over 50 with a Harvard MBA gets a tattoo, it's not a spontaneous whim, but deep long-term vision.”
At the time of writing XRP is trading at $2.22, up 1.5% from yesterday. Over the past seven days the coin has risen 8.4% and has outperformed Bitcoin.
Meanwhile, rumors persist about a Ripple IPO. XRP attorney John Deaton predicts Ripple's valuation could rocket past $100 billion shortly after an IPO.
That Ripple has withdrawn its appeal against the SEC seems to be a breakthrough in this protracted case. If the company ends up paying the fine as announced, after years of courtroom trench warfare there will finally be a conclusion to the XRP saga.
