52 percent of American voters see crypto as the future of finance
About half of voters in the US believe that 'cryptocurrencies are the future of finance.' That's based on data from Grayscale, the world's largest crypto fund.

About half of voters in the US believe that "cryptocurrencies are the future of finance." That comes from data from an survey by Grayscale, the world's largest crypto fund. In that survey, 44 percent of the 2,029 respondents said they would include crypto assets in their investment portfolios in the future.
According to Grayscale CEO Michael Sonnenshein, "policymakers and regulators have a chance to protect investors by providing more clarity and guidance in the rules."
The study also offered other insights, namely that a quarter said that high inflation had sparked their interest in cryptocurrencies. Even nearly 20 percent of registered voters already own crypto assets. In August 75 percent of retailers in America said they want to integrate crypto.
On November 8, 2022, the so-called midterm elections will take place in the US. Under U.S. election law, a third of the Senate and the full House of Representatives are elected every two years. This matters for the crypto sector because politics will affect the responsible regulatory bodies.
