Cardano founder speaks out on US government crypto report

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson vents his anger at a White House report that casts a negative verdict on cryptocurrencies.
Charles Hoskinson criticized a American report on cryptocurrencies. According to the government document, cryptocurrencies are too speculative, they have "no fundamental value," and the promises of digital assets have not materialized.
In a video stream, he dismissed these claims as "bullshit." "They're trying to pin the banking crisis they caused on us. That's what's happening in these reports," Hoskinson added.
He called the report "a pathetic joke" and said that "reports like this are a quiet danger. Because these are the things that make their way into legislation, policy, and oversight."
In the U.S., the crypto sector is facing a lot of headwinds right now. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is taking a hard line and pushing for more regulation.
