FTX: EU arm offers website for repayment requests

FTX EU, the European arm of FTX, has set up a website where European customers can reportedly submit repayment requests.

Customers who were duped from the EU arm of FTX can file repayment requests on the alleged corporate website. Whether this is actually a legitimate offer remains unclear.

According to Finance Magnates, the new domain name "https://ftxeurope.eu/" has been approved by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) - the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission.

"We want to inform you that our new domain, www.ftxeurope.eu, has been approved by our regulator CySEC, as you have noted. The website will only be used for all customers of FTX EU Ltd to access their FIAT balances. No services or products will be offered via this website," FTX Europe told Finance Magnates via email.

It is unclear how many users this affects. FTX EU has only been live since March 2022, and the corporate network of Sam Bankman-Fried collapsed in November 2022.
