To boost Web3 development and the blockchain, Tezos is teaming up with Google Cloud.

Tezos is teaming up with Google Cloud to speed up Web3 development on the blockchain. This comes from a related press release. The cloud provider will take on the role of network validator, while Tezos will benefit from the so-called "Google for Startups Cloud Program".

Mason Edwards, CCO of the Tezos Foundation, said: "Reliable, scalable, and secure technology is essential to reach institutional adoption and mass-market opportunities."

Google offers a "safe and reliable infrastructure for Web3 founders and developers to innovate and scale applications," the company said.

"The collaboration also advances the joint goal of creating environmentally sustainable computing environments," the statement said. In October 2022, Google Cloud announced a similar partnership with the NEAR Protocol. Meanwhile, competitors seem warned and are working on their own projects.
