Despite the dour sentiment in the crypto market, Bitcoin indicators look strong. Institutional investors predict a strong year for Bitcoin.
According to a study from hedge fund Nickel Digital Asset Management, professional investors are predicting a robust Bitcoin year. The 200 institutional investors and asset managers across seven countries studied in the report manage about 2.85 billion US dollars. 23 percent of them still have confidence that Bitcoin will breach the $30,000 mark by year-end. On the long-term investment horizon, two-thirds of respondents are bullish: they agree that Bitcoin can still reach the historically anticipated valuation of $100,000. According to 38 percent of participants, this price target could come within the next three to five years. Only six respondents think BTC will not retake its previous all-time high of $70,000.
3 percent of investors doubt the future
Anatoly Crachilov, CEO and founding partner of Nickel, said: "Pricing crypto markets is always a daunting task, but the main takeaway from our study is that only 3 percent of investors doubt Bitcoin's future." The $100,000 price target for BTC is heavily debated among peers. After the ongoing bear market of the past months, Bitcoin has managed to stabilize.
