Market Update: When Will Bitcoin's Sideways Trend End?

The crypto market is currently quiet before the storm. Bitcoin (BTC) is listed at $105,483, exactly the same level as yesterday. Altcoins are also showing little action: Ethereum nudges up to $2,636 (+1.4%), putting Bitcoin in the rearview. The biggest gainer among the top 10, however, is Ripple (XRP), up 2.1%.

Despite macroeconomic uncertainties — including new 50% US import tariffs on aluminum and steel — Bitcoin remains unusually steady.

According to macro-analysis platform Bravos, the next phase of the Bitcoin rally could be near. The money supply (M2) is rising quickly worldwide — and that liquidity uptick is traditionally a trigger for price gains in scarce assets like Bitcoin and gold.

The Quantile Model also signals green. With a ‘Risk Score’ of 61%, Bitcoin is not overvalued right now and is attractively priced for risk-takers looking for a good entry point.

But one important group remains cautious: the retail investor. According to on-chain data from CryptoQuant, demand from smaller investors has fallen by 2.45% over the past 30 days. “Retail is still on the sidelines,” caueconomy writes on the platform. “There’s no sign of a massive influx or euphoria.”
