The DOGE-1 mission is the first lunar flight to be funded by Dogecoin. The launch is scheduled for Nov. 15.

To the moon: the DOGE-1 mission takes the popular cryptocurrency literally. And is sending a rocket to the moon.

The highlight: it is the first commercial lunar flight funded entirely by Dogecoin.

De launch will take place on November 15, 2023.

The mission was conceived in 2021 by Elon Musk's Geometric Energy Corporation and SpaceX. It also uses a rocket from SpaceX, the Falcon 9.

The DOGE-1 mission will use a satellite to orbit the moon and collect information through sensors and cameras.

Dogecoin is the world's most popular memecoin. The coin was launched in 2013 as prank launched. Meanwhile, it is worth billions of US dollars.
