Mother and brother of Sam Bankman-Fried refuse to cooperate with authorities
Some direct family members of Sam Bankman-Fried apparently do not want to cooperate with ongoing investigations.

Some direct family members of Sam Bankman-Fried apparently do not want to cooperate with the ongoing investigations. This comes from a legal motion filed by FTX's lawyers on January 25.
The new management and the judicial authorities are currently reviewing all connections in the FTX case. According to the document, some potential witnesses did not want to voluntarily cooperate despite requests.
In addition to former Alameda Research CEO Caroline Ellison and Head of Technology Gary Wang, certain family members of Sam Bankman-Fried are listed as "advisors" in the filing. FTX co-founder Nishad Singh is also on the list.
FTX founder's mother, Barbara Fried, reportedly ignored the requests entirely, the lawyers write. Meanwhile, the debtors have received no meaningful involvement or response from Singh or Gabriel Bankman-Fried [SBF's brother, editor].
FTX collapsed last November. Since then, U.S. authorities and the company's new management have been trying to locate the lost funds of customers. The new CEO does not rule out resuming exchange operations.
