Revolut Hits $115 Billion Valuation After Share Sale

The valuation follows strong profit and revenue growth, while Revolut continues to expand its crypto business with a MiCA license, Revolut X, and more than 200 tokens.

Revolut Hits $115 Billion Valuation After Share Sale

Key Takeaways

  • Revolut was valued at $115 billion in a secondary share sale, 53 percent higher than less than a year ago.
  • The company posted a pre-tax profit of $2.3 billion in 2025 and revenue of $6 billion, while its customer base grew to 75 million.
  • Revolut offers more than 200 crypto tokens, has a MiCA license in the EU, and runs the crypto exchange Revolut X.

Revolut’s valuation has climbed to $115 billion (€101 billion) in a secondary share sale, marking a 53 percent increase in less than a year. The latest deal underscores how quickly the British fintech and crypto company has scaled, while also reinforcing its standing in Europe’s crypto market.

Valuation Jumps Higher

According to an internal message from CEO Nik Storonsky, reported by The Wall Street Journal, shares were priced at $2,017 (€1,770) each. The transaction allowed employees and other existing shareholders to sell part of their holdings, without Revolut raising any new capital.

That puts the company well above its $45 billion (€39.4 billion) valuation from 2024 and also far ahead of the $75 billion (€65.7 billion) figure mentioned in November last year. With that jump, Revolut is now the most valuable private company in Europe. The valuation is even higher than Barclays, although the comparison is not exact because Revolut is being priced through a private transaction and the deal size has not been disclosed.

Growth in Profit and Revenue

The higher valuation comes after a strong year on the financial side. Revolut reported a pre-tax profit of $2.3 billion for 2025, which was up 57 percent from a year earlier. Revenue also rose 46 percent over the same period to $6 billion (€5.3 billion).

Its user base kept expanding as well and has now crossed 75 million customers. For a company that started out mainly as a payments app, that growth shows how much broader Revolut’s footprint has become across fintech and crypto.

Crypto Still Matters Strategically

For crypto users, the key point is that Revolut has steadily widened its offering over the past few years. Inside the app, customers can trade more than 200 crypto tokens, send assets to an external crypto wallet, and stake holdings. The company also operates a separate crypto exchange called Revolut X.

Revolut also secured a MiCA license last year to provide crypto services in the EU. That puts it among the larger European firms blending crypto with regulated financial services. It also reflects a wider industry trend, as crypto exchanges are also expanding into stocks and commodities to keep users and capital inside their ecosystems. The company has also applied for a U.S. national bank charter and, according to earlier reports, has discussed a possible $200 billion (€175 billion) valuation in a future IPO.
