Ripple expands: New partnerships with Revolut and Zero Hash

The Ripple stablecoin is on the rise and is now available for trading on Revolut and Zero Hash. After crypto-exchanges Bitstamp and Bullish, these are the next major partnerships for RLUSD. Ripple announced these collaborations yesterday, Wednesday, on platform View post on Xand emphasized that RLUSD is a "reliable, transparent and regulated stablecoin."

London-based fintech company Revolut serves more than 50 million customers worldwide, while Zero Hash is a crypto infrastructure platform. With the addition of Ripple USD, it now supports five different stablecoins. Edward Woodford, CEO of Zero Hash, indicated that the mention of Ripple's RLUSD token shows his platform's commitment to providing its customers with the "most innovative and best-regulated" stablecoin products.

Ripple USD is available on both Ethereum and the XRP-Ledger. The latter experienced an unexpected downtime yesterday morning that lasted about an hour. In the past 24 hours, trading volume, according to data from Coinmarketcap, reached about US$156 million, which, despite continued adoption, represents a 35 percent drop from the previous day.

In total, stablecoins have a market capitalization of US$229 billion. Virtually all leading tokens are linked to the world reserve currency.
