Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Cardano is planning a new software upgrade. "View post on X" should enable secure on-chain interactions.

Beyond promoting blockchain interoperability, Valentine is also aimed at boosting cross-chain dApp development on the Plutus platform. Plutus is the smart contract platform of the Cardano ecosystem, built on top of the blockchain. Thanks to the optimization, developers can implement a wider range of designs with multi-signature and threshold signatures.

Valentine will roll out on February 14 and adds another upgrade to Cardano’s list of network optimizations. On January 31, the network launched the algorithmic stablecoin Djed.
