Tennis stars and sisters Venus and Serena Williams are becoming brand ambassadors for the social trading app "Shares". Shares describes itself as Europe’s first social, community-based investment app.

With this View post on X, the platform aims to appeal mainly to women of the Millennial and Gen Z generations. According to a study from the website Business Journals, about 42 percent more investment money has been available since the coronavirus pandemic.

Shares aims to facilitate this by offering a digital, social, and human investment experience, according to the press release. Since its launch in May, the investment platform has attracted 150,000 users in the United Kingdom, it adds. A launch in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland is also planned.
