A month ago Visa announced a partnership with FTX. Now it's over: The payment service provider ended the collaboration.

Just a month ago, the payment service provider Visa announced a partnership with FTX. As Reuters reports, Visa has now dissolved the partnership with the collapsed crypto exchange.

"The situation with FTX is regrettable and we are monitoring developments closely," said a company spokesperson. The "global agreements with FTX" have been terminated, Visa told Reuters. Alongside FTX, Visa planned to launch a crypto credit card. The launch was planned for 40 countries.

FTX is facing liquidity issues, causing the FTT token to drop by more than 93%. A bankruptcy looms for the crypto exchange.
