The American financial services giant S&P Global is looking for new staff for its DeFi division. This comes from a LinkedIn job posting. The DeFi expert will need to research topics like Web3, Metaverse, and Blockchain.

The company is seeking someone with experience and is looking for: “A crypto market participant with a deep understanding of the disruption it represents both for our company and our customers.” The salary ranges from $107,000 to $212,000. Not bad, right? To qualify, you’ll need: a master’s degree, at least 15 years of corporate experience, and "other qualifications."

S&P Global's DeFi team has so far researched blockchain, Web3 and Metaverse, but currently offers no crypto products. Still, it looks like the financial giant is already positioning for the future.

Meanwhile, Nasdaq is, in the meantime, already "fully busy" building an infrastructure for crypto wallets.
