The REX-Osprey XRP ETF (XRPR) topped the list with $37.7 million, marking the largest day-1 volume of any ETF launch in 2025. Within 90 minutes, $24 million had already traded. The REX-Osprey DOGE ETF (DOJE) also surprised, with $17 million—nearly seven times what was expected—and landed in the top-5 of more than 700 ETF launches this year.

Both products were approved under the Investment Company Act of 1940, a structure that uses foreign ETPs and subsidiaries to track the prices of XRP and DOGE. Analysts see the strong start as a bullish signal for the many other crypto ETF applications in SEC pipeline.

Yet the coins themselves didn’t benefit immediately. XRP fell to $3.04, while DOGE slid back to $0.27. Since the start of the year, XRP remains up 45%, with key technical breakouts above the 50-day EMA and a falling resistance line.
