Bitcoin narrowly misses new all-time high

That didn't make much of a difference. Bitcoin narrowly missed its old all-time high this morning. But it won't last long.

Bitcoin narrowly missed its new all-time high this morning. This is evident from data from CoinMarketCap.

According to the data, BTC was trading at a peak of $68,785.

The most valuable cryptocurrency missed the old record high (according to CoinMarketCap) of $68,789 by just $4.

At the time of writing, the Bitcoin price stands at $67,479. Thus, the boundary around the old all-time high is only 2.3 percent away.

So not much is missing. In the next few days, if not hours, it will probably be there.

Incidentally, the orange giant broke yesterday through the all-time high of the euro.

The main drivers of the rally remain US Bitcoin Spot ETFs. Demand for the financial products from Wall Street's big asset managers around BlackRock, Fidelity and Co. remains high.

Combined with the Bitcoin halving in April, this could lead to a demand shock scenario.
