A new Community Council
With a new Community Council, Yuga Labs aims to help the BAYC NFT project grow and thrive. The company announced this in a blog post. Members, it said, are "apes with a proven track record of proactive and positive contribution to the club since its inception."
The members, it was said, all belonged to BAYC and were announced with photos of their respective NFTs. Their role, it said, is to work with the community, solicit feedback, and help Yuga shape the future of the project. "This council and future councils will provide a more formal, efficient, and consistent process for Yuga leadership to continually receive feedback and guidance from the community," the council said.
Also needed for other projects
Community councils could also be rolled out for other Yuga Labs projects, such as CryptoPunks or Otherside. Despite the bear market, ape hype seems far from over. In August, NFT collector Vis.eth bought one of the coveted NFTs for a whopping $1.3 million.
