Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Artificial Intelligence (AI), or AI, is software that performs tasks that normally require human reasoning. Examples include recognizing patterns, processing language, and creating text.
What is artificial intelligence (AI)?
AI is a broad term for different computer systems. Many modern systems learn patterns from data. This is called machine learning.
After training, an AI system can process new information. For example, it can make a prediction, classify something, or generate text. Generative AI is AI that creates new content, such as text, images, or code.
AI is not a blockchain or a cryptocurrency. An AI system doesn’t need a blockchain or token to work.
An example of AI
A crypto platform might use AI to recognize unusual withdrawal patterns. If a withdrawal differs significantly from someone’s previous behavior, the platform might ask for an additional check.
That doesn’t automatically mean there’s fraud. The system only detects that something is unusual, and it can make mistakes.
Why is AI important in crypto?
AI is used in crypto for trading software, fraud detection, programming tools, and analyzing data on a blockchain. Some projects also try to use a blockchain to bring together the supply and demand for computing power or AI services.
You may also come across AI tokens: tokens associated with AI-related projects. The purpose of a token varies from project to project. So, the name AI token doesn’t prove that a project is useful, safe, or profitable.
AI can produce information that sounds convincing but is wrong. Incomplete or outdated data can also make its output less reliable. Good past results also don’t automatically predict crypto prices. So, carefully check specific AI claims made by a crypto project.
