Chainlink staking pool hits its limit after three days

Since December 6, customers can stake tokens with Chainlink. After three days the liquidity pool capacity limit was reached.

Last Tuesday Chainlink announced that Early Access for Chainlink Staking is available on the Ethereum mainnet. To generate yield, customers can deposit tokens into a liquidity pool. Earlier the pool was only available to node operators and long-term investors. General access took place yesterday, December 8.

The limit has been reached

The size of the liquidity pool is capped at 22.5 million Chainlink tokens (LINK). Currently this equates to about $160 million. Yesterday, December 9, the limit was reached. With staking, investors can deposit their coins, which are then locked for a certain period. In return, they receive percentages for providing liquidity. The company states the lock-up period of the staked LINK at View post on X and advertises a yield of 4.75 percent.
